Selection Notice for the Temple University Intercollegiate Exchange program in 2022 spring semester

Temple University is a well-known public research university in the United States. The school was ranked 103rd in the nation in 2021. The inter-school exchange program is open for selection, and the selection requirements are hereby notified as follows:

1. Selection Object

1.1 Applicant must be registered sophomores and juniors in OUR university when communicating offline or online. Please refer to the attached project information for specific project requirements.

1.2 Applications for the following disciplines are limited: Architecture, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Computer and Information Science, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Education, Physical Education, tourism management.

1.3 Applicant should have excellent academic performance, all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, with high comprehensive quality, and must meet the GPA and Foreign language score requirements of the program when registering. (GPA: 3.00 +; TOEFL 79+ or IELTS 6.0+ or Duolingo 110+)

1.4 Applicant must actively participate in various social practice activities, have organizational skills, communication skills and a sense of responsibility to serve the society, and be able to adapt to study and life in a new environment.

1.5 Applicant should have good family financial conditions and be able to pay round-trip travel expenses, living expenses during study, insurance and medical insurance premiums and other miscellaneous expenses when communicating offline.

1.6 This project is to select exchange students for the spring semester of 2022. The quota is 2 for the spring semester. Applicants who have not participated in a student exchange program are preferred.

2. Selection Process

2.1 All eligible students can apply to their respective departments. Each school will submit a list of recommendations to the International Office after selection. The International Department does not accept direct application from individual students. A maximum of two students can be recommended from each college.

2.2 If the materials are incomplete, GPA or foreign language scores are not qualified, the school will reject the materials.

2.3 After the review of the school's materials, the recommended candidate list will be submitted to the International Office. Comprehensive interview for academic affairs office, Student Affairs Office and International Office. The specific time of interview will be notified to candidates recommended by the school.

3. Application Materials

3.1 Application form for overseas exchange Program;

3.2 Transcript (need to be signed by secretary);

3.3 Proof of relevant language proficiency.

4. Deadline for submission

Please send your application materials and hard copies to the Office of International Development and Certification, School of Management (Address: No. 320, Jiageng No. 1) before 11:40 am on September 17, and send scanned copies to Mr. Chen at kellychan19515@xmu.edu.cn. Overdue payment will not be accepted. For more information, call 2186311.

5.Matters Needing Attention

5.1 Inter-university student exchange programs are free of tuition fees, other costs are your own. During the exchange period, the tuition fee of our university should be paid normally.

5.2 If you do not have a passport on the date of the announcement, please hurry up and apply for your passport.

5.3 The situation abroad is still full of uncertainties. Overseas universities reserve the right to cancel/suspend offline student exchange programs or change courses online due to epidemic prevention and control requirements. Please register carefully according to your own situation and arrange your study reasonably.
