As an old sayings :Summer tea ,a bit bitter and astringent,; Autumn tea ,better taste. During this autumn tea season, the whole island is full of smell of tea.
Last Saturday,(Oct.29)Overseas students of SOM visited Bama Tea arranged by Exchange affairs office. As we known, Bama is really a well-known company in China with more than 800 retail chains .Students were curious about their business model and production line ,etc.
Our destination is the head office of BAMA in An’xi county of Fujian. First of all, From the enterprise introductions video , we got to know the tea planting under the natural environment –water ,sunshine ,soil etc.
And then our students visited the tea museum and mini tea plantation in the factory area. From a slice of leaf to a cup of tea, they are: sun drying, cooling of leaf, rocking, pan-fired, rolling.Our students also joined in the line of picking tea stem.
As our last stop,we watched typtical tea show in Bama.Our overseas told us,this was their first time so close to the tea culture .They look forward to learning more Chinese language and local culture knowledge. Hope this company visit will be precious memory in their life.
